Community Driven FUD Control
The Community-Driven FUD Control section empowers community members to help maintain a positive environment by allowing them to collectively address disruptive behavior. Members can use the command /invoke
to initiate a vote to mute a specific user. Once invoked, other members can vote on whether the user should be muted, based on the predefined settings in this section.
Members can actively manage FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) in the community thanks to this feature, which encourages community involvement in moderation and guarantees that decisions are made in a transparent and democratic manner.
Configuring Community-Driven FUD Control
To set up Community-Driven FUD Control, you can adjust the following settings to tailor the voting process to your community’s needs:
Votes Required: Defines the number of votes needed to successfully mute a user, balancing democratic control with effective moderation.
Invoke Timer: Sets the voting window duration after an invoke command, ensuring timely decision-making.
Who Can Vote?: Specifies which ranks can vote in the process, allowing only trusted members to participate.
Who Can Invoke?: Determines which ranks can initiate the invoke command, limiting who can start the voting process.
Viewing Community-Driven FUD Actions
All actions taken through the Community-Driven FUD Control system can be reviewed in the Actions section of this tab. Here, you’ll find a detailed record of each invocation, including which user was invoked, the voting outcome, and any resulting mute actions.
